Best chocolates! They have an amazing sipping chocolate as well. They also do seasonal versions of the there options. They have great chocolates, macarons, ice cream, syrups, jams & cookies.

Cozy place for a hot chocolate and some macaroons. I ordered hot chocolate with marshmallows, was delicious but also very very sweet.Maybe if i will pass by next time I will try something not so sweet😁

This place has some very high quality desserts. Chocolate cakes are amazingly delicious and so are the macaroons. It smells great right when you walk in. It is a small place on the inside though with a few tables for seating, and has a few extra tables/chairs outside too. Depending on what time you go, it might be full.

While i would normally give Ginger Elizabeth a 5 star....today it is a 2. I ordered online 36 hours ago....for a 3 pm pick up. Had to wait in line 30 min to pick up. Then they did not have my order ready.....for the 2nd time in a row. Then the May boxes I ordered....well they ran out of the apricot macaron.....well too bad. So a couple things....1) the apricot is what the person i bought this for was wanting the most. 2) since i already paid, i couldn't get a refund. 3) Your price point is on par for what you do (well worth it)but I cant keep buying stuff when it gets messed up.I know it is so different with COVID but still. Love you guys but twice in a row..... gotta figure something out.

This place has some of the best macarons I have ever had! Also, now that it is cold wet winter season, you should come here for some of the best hot chocolate in Sacramento!

Amazing desserts. There is an ever changing selection of macaron flavors so it's always fun to try new flavors. When it's cold the hot chocolates are a great way to warm up.It is a little more expensive than other places but you get what you pay for!

This place is so amazingly good. A must try. The chocolate has such a great quality, with unique delicious flavors. I especially love their hot chocolate, it's Italian style and the absolute best hot chocolate you will have.

The oaxaca spiced hot chocolate with homemade whipped cream and marshmallows is literally the best. Get the small. Trust me... It is so incredibly rich, creamy and tasty with a kick of spicy hot... you cannot finish it.

Great customer service and awesome quality taste, maybe a little pricey, but the quality meats the price.

Best place in Sacramento for both chocolates and macaroons. They are experts at what they do and they do it deliciously. They offer milk and dark chocolate along with amazing drinking chocolate and other delightful confections. Definitely for a more developed palate, this is not a kids candy shop.

This place serves phenomenally delicious and creative ice cream sundaes for its monthly socials in the summer. More regularly offered, its gianduja is light with strong flavor, and the macarons are delightfully airy. And Ginger works so hard!

This bakery has the best macarons and deserts I have had in Sacramento. They do a good job making deserts. You may also order in advance if you want something to go; we ordered a small birthday cake to go. The menu is on their website to order. The place is a little small but employees are efficient in moving the crowd. There are also a few tables inside and outside. I come here every time I visit mid town Sacramento.

Never knew they opened late on a Saturday (until 10pm I believe). Best hot chocolate I have ever had!!! Great french macaron as well as other awesome dessert, but I was shocked by the hot chocolate!

Expensive! But worth it. These make great gifts for any occasion for any chocolate lover in your life. For non-chocolate lovers, they make incredible macarons with rotating seasonal flavors. Yummmm!

I was highly discriminated against for my medical condition when I came in to purchase from your store. According to California Civil Code - CIV Section 51, businesses cannot discriminate against my medical condition. I know your store is trying to "comply" but the mask order is a guidance, not a law. The guidance has a exemption section, but they choose to complete ignore that and discriminated against me.Great chocolates, terrible service!!

Ginger Elizabeth probably doesn't need another five star review, but I've been a fan of this shop since it opened. I first came here because a friend raved about the hot chocolate. And she was right, their Oaxacan hot chocolate is still one of my favorite item to drink. Rich, smooth a little spicy a perfect evening (or really anytime) drink, but make sure to get the home made marshmallow! They've expanded their menu greatly in recent years and really they are all good. You won't make a bad choice really, but favorites are their ice cream macaron sandwiches, truffle cookie and anytime they have their special ice cream Sundaes. The store is tiny and can get a line of customers out the door quickly, but definitely worth the effort if you haven't tried any of the chocolate yet.

Best chocolate shop in Sacramento. Not just chocolates but also best mocha and french macaron. Would recommend this place to anyone. Always sends these as presents for out of state family. Definitely one of Sacramento’s best.

The service is great on top of the amazing chocolate. I had forgotten the lollipops at the store and one of the employees ran a block to catch up with me to return them!! Always love coming here for a treat!!

Small space Big flavor

My daughter ordered me a box of their chocolates online for my birthday and paid extra to have them shipped. When I opened them they were all melted together. I called the store in Sacramento and they told me they couldn’t do anything since it was an online order and told me to email them, which I did. Never got a reply. Guess they don’t take care of their customers.

The place is clean, smells fantastic...eyes and nose are delighted in this place but I don't give it 5 stars because the treats are super sweet, sugar overpower the flavors... I wanted to taste all the great combinations she makes but I only remember the sugary flavor in my mouth, even my kids didn't want to finish their treat and we're desperate for water.

This was an amazing experience with great Macaroons and Chocolates. I ordered the Caramel Macaroon Ice Cream sandwich and it was perfection! I’m coming back for more 😋

Best chocolatier in town, Ginger Elizabeth Hahn makes the most amazing chocolate bonbons, macaroons and pralines. Her products make great gifts for out-of-state family who still think Sacramento is a cow town. Having her shop conveniently located right in Midtown is a plus, the selection is good, prices fair and Ginger Elizabeth has a very impressive resume including NYC, Chicago and Napa Valley. Not everyone understands cocoa butter the way she does. Do yourself and favor and come on in. I have to practise restraint - not.

There was a line out the door on Saturday morning, but it moved quickly. The truffles and the cocoa dusted almonds are crazy good. They aren't the cheapest you will find, but you definitely get what you pay for, in this case!

Great little place to stop by whenever in Sacramento, filled with upscale goodies. Macorons, Bonbons, and chocolate Lollipops. Also love to see and hear the train come through swell a couple blocks down!!

I just love desserts, especially well-made desserts! Ginger Elizabeth Chocolates is a great place to come for well-made desserts. From their macaroons to rich chocolate dessert, everything was amazing. It is a tiny place with some seating inside and outside, clean design and attentive service. I even considered getting a job there... Maybe next time...

The macaron ice cream sandwiches were fantastic! Tried the salted caramel and the almond Rochere. The macaron and the filling made them a delectably chewy when the sandwich warmed while eating.

Cozy, bright, clean place with hot chocolate, macarons, cookies, truffles, some gifts (like smaller cookies, gift boxes, and powdered chocolate). The classic American hot chocolate is super rich, and the whipped cream tastes like the real deal, super thick. Would definitely go back! There's a couple countertop spaces but otherwise the place is pretty small so it's not a cafe by any means

Hands down the best dessert place in sacramento

I just tried them for the first time. I'm at home during quarantine and had a sweet tooth so I decided to check doordash for desserts and they popped up. They are SOOOOOOO good!!!!! Best cupcakes I've ever had in my life. The Almond Roca cupcake had some kind of filling, which I was nervous about because I don't typically like fillings, but it was delicious!! The Salted Caramel cupcake was also amazing!

This is one of my favorite places for desserts. They are a bit on the higher end for pricing. (about $2.00 per macaroon or individual piece of chocolate). They are so worth it. I go there at least 1-2 times per year to treat myself. If you are there in the winter, the hot chocolate is amazing. They do fantastic cakes as well.
